The
Instructional Development Lab (IDL)
For many, setting
up an ideal system for digital video may not be an ideal option
due to expense or other consideration. The Instructional Development
Lab (IDL) in the Office of Instructional
Support and Development is a comfortable, technologically-advanced
environment for exploring and developing instructional applications
of technology, receiving consultations, and for delivering small-group
workshops.
Within
the IDL, there are two computers
(Mac and PC) that are dedicated
to digital video and audio production
as well as an audio booth for
sound recording.
The IDL is available for use by
University of Georgia faculty
and TAs for production of instructional
products,
and
is
open
Monday
through
Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. To
reserve computer time in the lab,
or for more information about
the equipment and services offered
there, please send an email message
to: isd@uga.edu.
Consultation
and
use
