| Video Conferencing | |||
| A state-of-the-art IP videoconferencing room with seating for up to 12 is available for classes, guest lectures to other institutions, international planning meetings, interviews and other faculty development and instructional needs. Staff are available to provide training and support in the operations and best practices of videoconferencing. | |||

| University Channel 15 | |||
The University Channel 15 appears on University Cablevision around campus and on Charter Cable in the Athens area with national and locally-produced programming designed to serve the mission of the University. The University Channel 15 is delivered to the UGA campus via University Cablevision and to the Athens area community via Charter Cable. Oversight of the channel is served by the Cable Policy Board, while the daily operations are carried-out by the CTL on campus. Click here to view monthly programming guide for JULY, 2008. To request the announcement of a UGA event to be displayed in the form of a graphic slide, submit the online graphics announcements request form. [Adobe Acrobat Reader application is required for viewing.] To request video program delivery, submit the online video program request form and bring the broadcast material to CTL at least three days in advance of the air date [online map]. [Adobe Acrobat Reader application is required for viewing.] Note: Independent productions/UGA announcements (submitted by students or other on-campus individuals or organizations/individuals external to the university) must be sponsored by an official university-related organization and/or program and will be aired subject to 2B and 2C of the policies included in the online request form, and in selected time slots. |

| Instructional Channel 16 | |||
CTL provides a special instructional channel on University Cablevision (Channel 16), offering satellite-delivered instructional programming and teleconferences for departments anywhere on campus where there is a cable connection. (For Cablevision questions, including problems with cable modems in the dorms, call EITS at 542-3333 for assistance.) |

| You can access an extensive collection of educational videos, CDs, DVDs and other media in our online catalog at http://media2.isd.uga.edu. Users can either check out media directly from the South Instructional Plaza office or request delivery (once daily) to designated central locations in campus buildings. | |||

| Equipment/Key Loan & Rentals | |||
| A variety of audiovisual, video and data presentation equipment is available to augment installed classroom equipment for instructional applications. Equipment is provided first to faculty and TAs, then to students authorized by faculty. Users can either check out equipment directly from the CTL South Instructional Plaza office, or request delivery (once daily) to designated central locations in campus buildings. | |||
