CTL
programs cable channels 15 and 16 in an effort to promote
academic synergy on campus and to distribute quality programming
to the Athens community. These channels
represent one portion of the larger campus
Cablevision system.

UNIVERSITY
CHANNEL 15
The purpose and mission of the University Channel is to
(1) Provide University educational and informational resources to
a diverse community of faculty, staff and students off campus, (2)
Provide continuing education opportunities to a diverse community
of adult learners, (3) Extend the educational opportunities of the
University via a distance learning channel, (4) Inform Athens-area
public of University activities and insure a close relationship
between city/county and University.
INSTRUCTIONAL
CHANNEL 16
CTL
also provides a special teleconference channel on University Cablevision
(Channel 16) available anywhere on campus where there is a cable
connection. For satellite teleconference downlink and distribution
requests through CTL, call 542-1582 with the appropriate information.
Video
Program Requests
To request video program delivery, print the online video
program request form, sign, and either deliver to CTL with
your tape [online
map], or fax to CTL at 706-542-0518. All tapes and forms must
be received by CTL at least three days in advance of the air date.

UGA
Announcement Requests
To
request the announcement of a UGA event or other item of interest
to be displayed in the form of a graphic, print the online UGA
announcements request form, sign, and fax to CTL at 706-542-0518,
at least 3 days in advance of the air date. [Adobe Acrobat
Reader application is required for viewing.]
Note:
Independent productions/UGA announcements (submitted by students
or other on-campus individuals or organizations/individuals external
to the university) must be sponsored by an official university-related
organization and/or program and will be aired subject to 2B and
2C of the policies included in the online request form, and in selected
time slots.
Current Monthly Schedule
Programs are derived from a number of original and rebroadcast
sources. You can view a schedule for each day of the week or see the entire
month.
